J Star Gymnastics are seeking to increase their coaching team and an opportunity for part time positions are available. We are looking to appoint energetic, enthusiastic coaches to join the team, where the post will involve working with development and recreational groups in preparation for the different pathways available at the club.
L1,2,3 Women’s/ Men’s Artistic or General Gymnastics Coach
J Star gymnastics has part time vacancies for enthusiastic, motivating coaches to join our friendly team.
The position is part time for up to 8 hours per week. More hours available next term.
The applicant should have past experience of coaching in a club. Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Applicants should hold a current minimum BG Level 1 qualification.
IDEALLY applicants should have a current DBS certificate, First aid and safe guarding documentation and have a good command of English with good written and verbal skills. The candidate must be flexible as from time to time the contracted hours may need to be adjusted.
All our coaches are committed to a high standard of coaching and you should be keen to help all gymnasts fulfil their potential. J Star Gymnastics is committed to helping our coaches to develop their skills via subsidised training towards coaching levels and judging courses.
The club has a competitive pay structure related to the qualifications and experience of the individual coaches. Interest within the sport of gymnastics is rising as is our membership.

Part time Hours: 8-12 hrs per week including late afternoon and Saturday morning shifts. More hours will be available in the near future.
A current CRB, safe guarding and first aid certificate are preferred but not essential.
